So we had a wasps nest..I contacted them via WhatsApp and was contacted within the hour and a time to suit our busy day was agreed..Khaled arrived promptly and contacted us to advise us he was on his way and his ETA...in a very polite efficient way Khaled explained what he would do..and if I was not satisfied that all activity had stopped by the morning to call him and he would return..Fabulous I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending then. Bed Bug Infestation
How To Treat Bed Bugs:
Bedbugs are an increasing problem across the UK, particularly in densely populated cities such as Birmingham, Manchester and London.
These pests are stowaways, allowing them to easily spread to non-infested properties by attaching to unsuspecting hosts. With thousands of hostels, hotels, and shared accommodations in cities nationwide, bed bugs can spread rapidly and quickly infest homes.
Frosts Pest Control is a leading national expert in bedbug treatment, utilising chemical methods to eliminate infestations swiftly and effectively.
Bed bugs infestation:
Bed bugs often stow away from one location to another. They can follow you home if you’ve stayed in an infested hotel or property. Consequently, second-hand furniture poses a significant bed bug risk.
-How To Prevent Bed Bugs
Completely preventing bed bugs is challenging, but you can take certain precautions.
-When Traveling:
Treat or wash your belongings, luggage, and clothes at high temperatures.
Inspect beds for common signs of bed bugs and keep your belongings away from them.
Avoid storing suitcases in warm areas of your house. Opt for cooler storage areas like a garage or shed to prevent bed bugs from infesting your luggage
-At Home:
Regularly and thoroughly vacuum your house, focusing on headboards, bed frames, and the surrounding floor areas.
While vacuuming won’t eliminate an existing bed bug problem, it can help reduce the chances of an infestation.
Empty the vacuum and dispose of the waste properly to avoid transferring bed bugs to new areas.
Reduce clutter as bed bugs seek out places to hide
What do bed bugs look like?
Despite their small size, bed bugs are a major parasite for the pest control industry, feeding exclusively on blood.
Adult bed bugs are approximately 4-5mm in size and red-brown in color. Contrary to popular belief, they are not invisible to the naked eye. They can be spotted, though they are adept at hiding by flattening themselves to appear as thin as a sheet of paper.
When recently fed, bed bugs become plumper, resembling the shape of an apple seed, and darken in color. You are more likely to see them after they have fed.
The signs of bed bugs:
If allowed to spread, a bed bug infestation can become nearly impossible to control. These pests are notoriously difficult to eliminate, with no effective DIY methods available. Bed bugs reproduce rapidly; within weeks, a single bed bug introduced to a property can lead to a colony of hundreds. Early detection and reporting make the infestation more manageable and enable quicker eradication. Therefore, it’s crucial to familiarise yourself with the signs of bed bugs.
Bed bug Removal:
It is essential to treat not only the areas with visible activity but also the surrounding areas. Bed bugs tend to avoid chemicals, so treating the entire property, including adjoining rooms, increases the likelihood of complete eradication.
